Most people call this species Honduran Rosewood. By most people, I mean everyone. However, It doesn't really grow in Honduras. It grows in Belize, which until 1981 was called British Honduras. That is where the name comes from. But since it isn't where the wood comes from, I feel like Belizean is better.
